HENDERSON, Nev. -- (July 20, 2010) -- Employment for medical coders is expected to increase by more than 20 percent over the next 10 years according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.* In response to this demand, Everest College's campus in Henderson, Nev., is now enrolling for its Medical Insurance Billing and Coding Diploma Program.

Students will gain a thorough knowledge of medical terminology, and learn to prepare and process insurance claims. The eight-month program also provides hands-on computer and keyboarding training to code and maintain patient records.
