August 2007: Anoto Group, the inventor of the first commercial Digital Pen and Paper technology, today announces the launch of its Anoto Forms Solution, an out-of-the-box software and hardware system designed for system integrators, developers, VARs and channel partners to rapidly develop and implement Digital Pen and Paper (DDP) applications.



Anoto digital pen technology, part of the Anoto Forms Solutions, can capture a user’s handwriting and transmit it back to a PC or server – via a docking station or a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone – without the need to hand-key notes. In addition, the Anoto dot pattern easily printed on paper further ensures complete traceability and data collection accuracy. The result is minimal interruption of current workflow and a dramatic reduction of administration time for staff, all while retaining complete mobility. This DPP technology already has a successful track record in improving staff productivity and reducing costs in areas such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, government, transportation and the public sector.

The Anoto Forms Solution is currently available to new and current channel partners serving Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, China, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. It includes five Anoto branded pens (available for the first time and exclusively as part of this package), PC docking cradles, all of the necessary software, Anoto dot pattern licenses and user guides. The solution is extremely flexible and can be integrated easily into other business support systems such as CRM and ERP applications like SAP. Anoto forms can be easily pre-printed or printed on-site, depending on customer preferences.
